The Akron Digital Academy currently offers courses delivered using the Internet and built around skills and objectives outlined in state and national performance standards.
Instruction is learner-centered and real world oriented. The Akron Digital Academy offers an interactive, learner-centered environment. Courses require both regular assignment and project work. Students are expected to participate regularly in their work both online and offline through synchronous and asynchronous forums.
Provide high quality, accessible "bridges to the wide world of learning" to students who are challenged to complete requirements, who are searching for additional curriculum opportunities, and who may not be able to attend a traditional school environment. Instruction is learner-centered with learners and highly qualified online learning instructors working interactively to achieve important learning goals and to create a highly supportive, interactive learning community.
